The Crisp County Community Council-Family Connection is excited to launch a new after school program – CREATE (Cultivating Resilience in Education through Art Therapy and Enrichment).  In partnership with the Crisp County School System, thanks to funding from a BOOST grant (Building Opportunities in ou through the GA  is offering Crisp students the opportunity to CREATE after school. CREATE is a new program developed for middle and high school students. It is designed to combat learning loss and meet students’ well-being, connectedness, and mental health needs.

Not all students learn the same way, and not all students have the ability to communicate their thoughts and feelings in the same way. Art therapy helps individuals who have difficulties responding to traditional forms of counseling find their voice through non-traditional approaches.
